The Garden Shed

One of our biggest projects of 2009 was to build a garden shed. It was a lot of work, but well worth it. It is SO cute.

Latest Creations

I have been trying to add personal touches around the house little by little and my latest "touch" is a trio I hung in the living room. Collage is one of my favorite things to do and I like to see what textures and objects I can add to make them interesting.

CRASH!

A guy ran a red light and
slammed into us on Sat Dec 26. No one was hurt but it sure shook us up.

Pictures of the kids

More Silver Bella pictures

This is a picture of my first class. Charlotte Lyons showed us how to make a cute hat from an old felted sweater. This was the work in progress

This a picture of a precious "tool box" that one of the ladies brought. She said her 11 yr old daughter painted it. !!! SO cute.

This was the Hodge Podge Journal class with Rebecca Sower. My friend, Stephanie, and I took this one together. It was fun and inspiring.

I participated in a swap titled The Year in Tags. My month was march and this was my contribution.
Another swap....Playing from A to Z. Of course the "I's" had it.

Halloween 09

Logan was all dressed up as a space pirate. Aubry was Princess of Spiders. We went to our old neighborhood to trick-or-treat. We met up with some friends and ate pizza and then we all went out to gather our loot. A fun night.

This is a recent picture of the "project". I'll have to take a more recent picture because the roof is done most of the siding is on and the windows are in. It is going to be SO cute. We're getting close to being finished.

We recently made a trek back "home" or where we grew up. There is a town nearby where my brother lives called Pocahontas. The town square is very quaint as you can see here. They also have some really cool structures that look like robots. We took some pictures of these with hopes to use them in our son's bedroom maybe.

Dairy Farm

Today we went to the Hatcher Dairy Farm in Williamson County. We saw all ages of cows and the babies in the nursery were SO cute. There were a few other animals to pet and admire. And look at the crowd of us! There were 75 in our homeschooling group!

This kitty greeted us at the farm. SO cute.

This is a recent picture of our house.

Our CUTE Little Garden Shed

This is our current project. We came a long way on it his past weekend. This is going to be a precious little addition to our place. I'll post the progress as it comes along.

I Love Zinnias

I always look forward to growing zinnias around my house. They add such bright, beautiful colors and last all summer. I picked a few today and made a bouquet. They make me smile.

We were invited to spend some time on the lake with friends. It was very relaxing.

This is yet another doll I've made. My friend, Christine had a fit over the ones I posted previously and asked for one. Isn't she cute?

These are some jewelry finds I found at Hobby Lobby. I can't wait to play with these.

Riding Lessons

Aubry has been falling in love with horses for the past few years. Several months ago we noticed one of our neighbors was giving riding lessons. I kept telling Aubry I would call, but I didn't get around to it until this week. Logan agreed to be a part of this as well. So here are pictures of my 2 youngin's going on their first horse rides.

Melissa Tilley is the instructor and was very impressed with Aubry's "natural" abilities. Aubry had the horse turning right off the bat and TROTTING! Melissa said she's never had a new student do that.
But it was a fun time for the kids and we'll go back next week.

Little Stinkers

Todd was out taking care of our chickens when along came a momma skunk and her 6 babies!  Notice the tails sticking up in the top photo.
